Mais le reflux contre-r\u00e9volutionnaire viendra vite, avant m\u00eame le Second Empire. Il faut attendre la prochaine r\u00e9publique pour une vraie l\u00e9gislation sociale.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"citation-small\">\u00ab\u00a0Puissent les classes dirigeantes trembler \u00e0 l\u2019id\u00e9e d\u2019une r\u00e9volution communiste\u00a0! Les classes dirigeantes \u2013 mais aussi une partie des classes populaires bient\u00f4t reprises en main par les notables \u2013 vont si bien trembler que les prol\u00e9taires perdront de nouveau ce combat social, sous la Deuxi\u00e8me R\u00e9publique. Ce n\u2019est qu\u2019un \u00e9pisode de la lutte des classes\u00a0: le <em>Manifeste<\/em> en donne une th\u00e9orie qui va marquer le monde pendant un\u00a0si\u00e8cle, et changer plusieurs fois le cours de l\u2019histoire.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"citation-small\">\u00ab\u00a0P\u00e9risse l\u2019humanit\u00e9 plut\u00f4t que le principe\u00a0! C\u2019est la devise des utopistes comme des fanatiques de tous les si\u00e8cles. C\u2019est le vol\u00a0!\u00a0\u00bb, oppos\u00e9 \u00e0 Marx et au marxisme, \u00e9lu d\u00e9put\u00e9 en 1848, impatient d\u2019\u00eatre \u00ab\u00a0la voix du peuple\u00a0\u00bb dont il est issu, il se retrouvera en prison pour crime d\u2019opposition \u00e0 Louis-Napol\u00e9on Bonaparte.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"citation-small\">\u00ab\u00a0Le vrai socialisme, ce n\u2019est pas le d\u00e9pouillement d\u2019une classe par l\u2019autre, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire le haillon pour tous, c\u2019est l\u2019accroissement, au profit de tous, de la richesse publique [\u2026] Quant au communisme, je n\u2019ai jamais eu pour id\u00e9al un damier.
